These terms apply to the Viable Prompt Protocol website, downloadable plugin and skill, and public runtime at mcp.viableprompt.org. VPP is an open-source project published by Seb Suarez.

Permitted use

You may use the open-source code under the repository's MIT license and the documentation and examples under their stated CC BY 4.0 terms. You may call the public runtime for lawful VPP preparation, formatting, validation, repair, and transcript validation.

You must not use the service to violate applicable law, infringe another person's rights, submit content you are not authorized to process, interfere with service operation, probe for vulnerabilities without permission, evade technical limits, or impose unreasonable load.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the content you submit, any client-carried state you retain, the model and host you use, and decisions made from generated output. Do not send secrets or unnecessary personal data. If a host calls VPP on your behalf, that host's terms also apply to its handling of your content.

Scope and limitations

The runtime enforces structural VPP rules. It does not verify factual accuracy, semantic quality, citation quality, legal compliance, safety, or fitness for a particular purpose. A structurally valid response may still be incomplete or wrong.

The website, downloads, and public runtime are provided as-is and as available, without warranties or a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of the project or service.

Availability and changes

Access may be rate-limited, suspended, or discontinued to protect the service or comply with legal obligations. These terms may be updated as the project or public service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
